Taylor Begert, Worship Director
Taylor feels a call to play music for the church and for the masses. The Pacific Northwest native first picked up the guitar during his middle school years in the Seattle area. He soon started an active schedule playing with worship teams and his Seattle-based rock band. By his senior year of High School, he was leading 380 of his peers in worship on a weekly basis. After expanding his experience as a worship leader and musicianship at both Whitworth University in Spokane WA, and Belmont University in Nashville TN, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter. During his quest to shed his day-job for his passion, God guided him to CBC’s job posting for a Worship Director. After more interviews, discussions, prayers and an audition, Taylor was offered & accepted the position at Community Bible Church of Ventura.
Taylor is always seeking out the songs that will best draw the congregation at CBC into worship, and seeks to glorify God through worshipful hearts, and musical excellence. He is blessed with a great volunteer team at the church.
