This Sunday our teaching passage will be Luke 10:17-24 and our topic will be Eyes To See! As a Christian indwelled by God’s Holy Spirit, believers are blessed with being able to see things that others don’t see. And, I believe that our text describes three such blessings.
Come join us at either our 9 am or 10:30 am service to discover the nature of these blessings. Also, we always encourage you to bring friends & family – as we always strive to present services & messages that are practical and relevant to your life.

How often do we think about what it means to be a Christian? As I’ve been challenged lately, being a Christian isn’t simply about what we believe, it’s about who we follow! I encourage you to take my challenge from this Sunday and spend some time thinking about how you are doing following Jesus in your daily life with the mission he has set before you. Let’s be followers who actually GO where God is calling us and share the GOOD NEWS!

We are making up the cancelled event from this past spring to head into LA to the California Science Center this Friday, July 19th! We’ll be meeting at CBC at 9 am and hoping to be back by 3 pm. Entrance is free, but please bring $5 to help with gas and parking. Lunch options include bringing your own lunch or purchasing food at location.

DreamFest is a church-planting crusade, which honors and brings love, to the foreigners in our land – the indigenous, migrant field workers among us. It blesses these individuals in tangible ways within a festival setting, where there is sharing of the Gospel message, a call to salvation, and subsequent planting of churches in these overlooked communities of the foreigners in our land.
CBC is partnering with Embrace Church for their DreamFest 2019, an exciting outreach ministry that brings the Gospel to the migrant field workers who live in our agriculture rich county. They need people to volunteer to help with the festival as well as financial support.
Prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to step out and serve in this ministry!
