This Easter Sunday, we will continue our series, “Words to Live By” exploring the “I WILL” statements of Jesus as we celebrate Easter at the cross. Unlike previous Sundays, where we have examined promises still unfolding, this Sunday, we will focus on Jesus’ most significant and already fulfilled promise: his resurrection from the grave. As recorded in John 2:19, Jesus declared, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” This Sunday, we will transition from contemplating Jesus’ future focused I will statements to examining a promise that has already been fully accomplished and how this changes everything!! This Sunday from Matthew 28:6 We will see that the tomb is empty and that “He has risen; just as he said”! Join us as we celebrate this victory and as we discuss what this means for our lives today.
