It may have taken Zechariah a little longer to get there, but when he does, he erupts in worship. Just as we saw last week how Mary’s belief led her to overwhelming praise, this week we will see Zechariah move from silence to song.

Like Mary’s Magnificat, Zechariah’s prophecy celebrates a great reversal—where the lowly are lifted up, the oppressed are delivered, and God’s promises are finally fulfilled. But Zechariah’s song is especially centered on one theme: victory.

Join us this week as we turn our attention to the prophesied victory of Jesus and celebrate the hope of Christmas—Before Jesus is even born, through Zechariah God declares that the victory is already on the way.
