Get excited! This Sunday is a Baptism Sunday! We’ll celebrate a baptism at the beach after church, as well as another baptism during our service.

As we get back into our Spiritual Practices series, we’ll look at the significance of obedience and baptism through the story of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:26–40.

One of the remarkable things about Philip’s story is how physically, spiritually, and emotionally available he was to both the Holy Spirit and the Ethiopian eunuch. He was ready to respond when God prompted him to take his next faithful step.

Join us this Sunday as we’re challenged to consider our own availability and preparedness to serve Christ—and to ask: What is the next faithful step Jesus is asking me to take?
