Summer Calendar Is Available!
This summer, we will be doing our midweek programing a little different. Both middle school and high school will meet together, and there will be programs offered on Monday and Wednesday nights. Here is how those nights will look:
Middle School and High School:
Explore God on Monday night. Join us from 7-8 pm as we explore the big questions life together!
Wednesday, June 19th, we kick off our Wednesday night programming for both MS/HS at the Cosio’s for a movie night outdoors!!! We’ll be there from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. Bring a snack to share!!
College/Young Adults
Tuesday nights, 7:30 – 9 pm

Hi Friends,
This week our sermon is A Tale Of Two Daughters, and it’s found in Luke 8:40-56 (also in Matthew 9:18-26 & Mark 5:21-43). It’s the story of Jairus’ dying daughter and also of the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years. Both stories teach us some amazing things about Jesus and about ourselves.
I hope that you’ll make plans to join us at either our 9 am or 10:30 am service. And, bring your friends! We’ll be honoring our dads in the service for Father’s Day and giving them something sweet to enjoy!

I had tons of you asking me about the verse that I shared this past weekend so I wanted to share it here as well: “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed upon you!” Isaiah 26:3. What an amazing promise- perfect peace! Let’s choose to fix our thoughts upon the Lord this week! I look forward to worshiping with all of you on Sunday!

Our Community Pantry provides free high quality groceries to everyone who asks the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. Come and join us. Send your friends and neighbors! For more info: 805.339.0019 ext.5
Did you know… the food we hand out from our pantry means our families are better able to afford medical care, utilities, transportation, and housing? This can make all the difference! Contact Marin: marin@cbcventura.org if you would like to get involved.
Donations Needed!
The Community Bible Church Food Pantry needs food this month! We have a calendar conflict during the month of June that means we won’t get food donations from Whole Foods and Sprouts, so we need donations of fresh food!
We need:
Milk (gallons or half gallons whole, 2%, etc)
Breads (sandwich bread, bagels, rolls, etc)
Family Portions of Meat fresh or frozen
Cheese
Yogurt (for kids or the elderly)
Lettuce
Fruit
Crackers
Donations can be dropped off at the church during office hours Monday-Thursday 9am-2pm or Sunday 8am-12pm. We will hand out food June 22. Contact Marin to coordinate drop offs at other times: marin@cbcventura.org
