This concept has been big for me lately! If you’re anything like me, you probably spend a lot of unnecessary time worrying instead of simply trusting God has it all handled! As an act of worship this week, let’s take EVERY worry, big or small, and submit it to the Lord.

Parent Meeting Sunday 9/15 after 2nd service.
We’ll come together to talk about where we are taking the students this fall as far as studies and talks go, go over upcoming events, and most importantly, pray for the youth of our church. Hope you can make it!
At midweek, for both high school and middle school, we are beginning a new series from Francis Chan, “Finding Truth“. This week we focus on finding identity and purpose through our relationship with Christ first and foremost.
The verses that we will continue to come back to during this series are Isaiah 55:6-11 and specifically verses 8-9,
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways’ declares the LORD. As the heavens are high than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)
This Friday night, 9/13, high schoolers come to Golf ‘n Stuff from 7-9 pm!! $11 covers a round of mini golf. Any arcade games would be extra. Drop off and pick up at location. Come enjoy some old school fun with us this Friday!!!

Starting Wednesday, September 25, come join us for EMPOWER – a night of connection, encouragement and learning – as we process powerful truths together! We’ll be drawing wisdom from proven teachers like Tony Evans, Chip Ingram, Andy Stanley, and others who have the gift of distilling practical principles into bite-size action steps.
This night is FREE and is designed for parents of youth (middle school/high school aged kids). But, everyone is welcome!
Each session will begin with a 15 minute interactional social time of refreshments and getting to know each other, followed by a 20-30 minute video teaching, and concluding with 30 minutes of processing/discussion facilitated by Pastor Bob DuPar.
The format of each Wednesday night is designed so that you can drop off your kids at youth group, and then receive valuable resources and training that helps grow you as a parent. This beats trying to run random errands until you’ve got to come back to pick up your kids!
EMPOWER begins Wednesday, September 25, at 6:30 pm in CBC’s main auditorium. Flyers are available for you to share with your neighbors and friends!
