Ancient Faith – Week 8: “We Look Forward”

Series:
Passage: Various
Service Type:

With the arrival of summer, what are you looking forward to? Perhaps a vacation, a wedding, a time of rest, or making memories with family and friends.

The final line of the Nicene Creed declares:

“We look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and to life in the world to come. Amen.”

This is the posture of hope in which every believer is called to live—whether Christ returns in our lifetime or we take our final breath on this earth.

Can you imagine what it will be like to stand face-to-face with your Creator in a resurrected body? Can you imagine a world where death, pain, suffering, and sin are no more? The Christian faith is not merely about what God has done in the past; it is also about the glorious future He has promised to His people.

Join us for the final week of our Nicene Creed series as we explore how this ancient faith calls us to fix our eyes on Christ and eagerly await the life to come.

Together, we will unpack Hebrews 12:1–2 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 as we discover the hope that has sustained Christians for centuries and continues to anchor our faith today.
