Today, we begin a new summer teaching series on the Old Testament names of God called Power In The Name. We’ll  begin with one of the three foundational names for God – Elohim: The Creator God.  As we will discover, in ancient times names had huge significance.  They spoke of a person’s identity, of their purpose in life – of their destiny.  In light of this, it’s interesting that God introduces Himself to His people in Genesis 1:1 as The Creator God.  I look forward to unpacking all of the meaning of this with you!
