This Is Us: “Made One in Christ”

Series:
Passage: Ephesians 2:11–18
Service Type:

Division is all around us. We’re experiencing deep divides across nearly every area of life—political, socio-economic, racial, and even generational tensions are growing. (We won’t even mention the rising animosity between the Dodgers and the Padres!) Sadly, the Church hasn’t been immune. Social sorting has increased, and many churches are becoming echo chambers for people who look, think, and act just like us.

But this weekend, we’ll explore how Ephesians 2:11–18 calls us out of those old identities that divide and into a new peace—even among the most divided. This peace, rooted in Christ, is not temporary; it will reign for eternity. The invitation for us today is to be made one in Christ.

As we continue in Ephesians 2, we’ll see that not only were we made alive and made for good works—we are now made one in Him!
