“For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven.”

As we move forward in our series through the Nicene Creed, we now turn our attention to the desire, the passion, and the purpose behind Jesus leaving heaven to join us here on earth. He came in pursuit of us. He came in love. He came to rescue and save us.

Last week, we looked at the nature of Jesus—who He is. This week, we turn to the work of Jesus; what He has done for us.
