This Sunday we’ll be studying Luke 12:49-59.  I encourage you to read the passage ahead of time.  It’s a tough passage because we’re presented with a side of Jesus that conflicts with our traditional perception of Him.  And, the challenge is reconciling a proper/true/consistent biblical understanding of our Lord – since we believe that God is the Author of Scripture, and therefore His entire Word is consistent & cohesive.
